Empowering Young Voices. Shaping a Climate-Ready Future
Climate Alliance Pakistan, in strategic collaboration with key partners, is launching a pioneering Children Climate Assembly at the city and provincial levels across Pakistan. Framed within the broader momentum of Pakistan’s Climate Action Weeks, the Assembly positions children and youth as active contributors to climate dialogue, innovation, and solutions.
The initiative is closely aligned with national climate education priorities and future-oriented sustainability strategies, while strengthening linkages with child-centered environmental and learning programs. Through a bottom-up, participatory approach, the Assembly empowers young voices — enabling children to articulate their concerns, identify their unique needs, and contribute creative, green, and technology-driven ideas for a climate-resilient future.
During its pilot phase, the Children Climate Assembly will be convened across six major metropolitan centers, integrated into the programming ecosystem of regional Climate Action Weeks. These cities will serve as dynamic platforms for fostering climate awareness, youth engagement, and solution-oriented dialogue between young participants, educators, policymakers, and climate practitioners.
Building on pilot outcomes, Climate Alliance Pakistan will expand the Assembly to major cities nationwide, establishing a scalable model for youth-centered climate participation. Insights, evidence, and lessons learned will be systematically documented and shared with regional stakeholders across South Asia and the Global South — advancing cross-learning, strengthening collaboration, and catalyzing next-generation, sustainable climate solutions.
